Holi Hai!!!

What fun….Holi is one of my favorite festivals…..actually I think I just LOVE all festivals in general…….This year was super duper fun…..missed my baby brother though but there was lot of other family around to compensate!

We started discussion on holi a week back…..trying to plan to do something with office junta….but that did not work….:-(

There was a potential plan to go to Khandala to celebrate holi cause some family friends were going there…..but that did not work….:-(

Finally we decided to go to the gymkhana party……we walked in….there was loud bollywood music  (my kind of music..;-)!)……and NO ONE…in the whole damn place!! I had half a mind of walking off and going back to the compound and playing holi with the water pipe…..but we were like 10 of us…so  we started off the party…..grabbed to water pipe…..and wet everyone!!

And then there was no stopping us……dancing……color….a few breezers….lots of water…..loooots of dancing….little bit of colour! We had a blast…..

Ofcourse as the time passed…people started coming in and what started as a private party did not stay that way for too long…..but Mumbai rocks…..people don’t misbehave…no putting color on people you don’t know etc….!

We ended the party with a nice hot water bath at home and  some very yummy food…..

But now suffering from the after effects….:-) dancing  with full josh for 2 hours in the rain……can be very very tiring……with the adrenalin rush at that time…you don’t realize…..but once you sit down…..u cant get up!! I am still slightly deaf with all the music and maybe the water that got into my ear……hope it is not permanent damage!

Family rocks…..festivals rock….and celebrating festivals with family you like is the best thing possible!!

HAPPY HOLI!!! 🙂

Hope for many more like this……
